The cast of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules switch partners faster than they pour drinks…
But tonight’s brand new episode will reveal a particularly shocking hook-up, between James Kennedy and new face Lauren Chavez. She’s an aspiring actress and singer who’s worked at SUR for years, while not previously appearing on the show. Viewers have watched James’ budding relationship with SUR hostess Lala Kent this season, but it seems one intense night with Lauren may jeopardize that.
All three spoke exclusively to CHRISTYreports, just last night at former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Joyce Giraud’s Queen of the Universe pageant. James and Lala arrived together, with Lauren walking the red carpet a short time later. Press play on the videos above for the (very juicy!) interviews.
James begins by talking about ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute and explains his beef with co-star Jax Taylor. When asked if he and Lala are an item, the busser/DJ replies coyly, “Yeah, you could say that.” Adding that the two are creating new music together, James also addresses his playboy reputation. “It’s not the real me, what you’re seeing,” but then declares “I’m just killing the game this year, apparently.”
So how did Lala get past his hook-up with Lauren and James calling her names in front their friends? The cast newbie explains that he ultimately won her over with his charm and that she considers James one of her best friends. But what about her Vanderpump Rules co-stars who haven’t been so welcoming? Lala couldn’t care less and jokingly addresses Scheana Shay & Katie Maloney‘s shocking claims. “Anybody out there that wants to pay me for a good time, I got rent to pay and bills.”
While James and Lala make jokes, Lauren seems more remorseful about what goes down on the show. Calling her night with James “the biggest regret ever,” she recalls warning her family about it. “I had to talk to my mom. I’m like this is what it is. I’m so sorry.” What about James’ new girl, Lala? Roll the interview video to see if she and Lauren are now friends or enemies.
