EXCLUSIVE: The Real Housewives of Orange County season 13 Gretchen Rossi & Slade Smiley on return rumors

Plus, after announcing plans to undergo IFV are the former RHOC stars expecting?

Cameras have started to roll on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 13. Former housewife Gretchen Rossi and her polarizing fiancé Slade Smiley are revealing exclusively to me whether rumors of their return to the show are true.

But first–baby news?! “No, there’s no announcements as of right now,” Gretchen says, after torturing me for a moment. She goes on to describe their experience with IVF, including Slade’s nursing skills.

Will baby come before marriage? Apparently the longtime engaged couple, who were planning a wedding for years, have abandoned those plans. “I think Slade and I have kind of decided we might be Oprah and Stedman [Graham] or Kurt [Russell] and Goldie [Hawn] or something like that.” She continues, “All the good marriages seem to just fall apart.”

If Gretchen and Slade do decide to get hitched, you won’t see it on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 13. When asked about recent rumors that they’re returning to the hit Bravo show, which seem to pop up with every new season, Slade offered an interesting theory. “Doesn’t that sound like the network and certain people using her for media, maybe?” Cue the collective ‘Ooooooooooohhhhh.’

His fiancé agreed. “I’m kind of sick of hearing it, too. I’m not coming back…it’s just that I’ve turned that page.” While adding that she’s grateful for her time on the show and that she’s down to make cameos, “Being back in the toxicity and the negativity is just not where I’m at in my life anymore.”

Check out the full interview to find out who Gretchen still hangs with from the cast. Plus, did Vicki Gunvalson‘s boyfriend really set up her BFF Kelly Dodd‘s ex-husband with a new girlfriend?? Of course I had to ask.
